Established in 1953, Richmond Ditching Co. Ltd. is a family-owned and operated company now successfully into its third generation.

One of the oldest and most respected drainage contracting firms in all of Canada, our company specializes in tile drainage, but is also capable of completing erosion control measures, right-of-way and land clearing, site preparation and more. Whatever service clients, who span from across Ontario-are seeking, our business is able to expertly accommodate any and all requests.

Our company’s top-of-the-line equipment includes a Bron drainage plow, which is outfitted with a premium GPS and laser system assuring grade control and accuracy. It can seamlessly install many materials, including up to 19-inch pipe, tubing or cable.

Other machinery-which has been carefully and expertly chosen by the company’s owner and operators-includes low-ground pressure dozers that are laser-equipped and feature winches and rippers, as well as excavators (7.5,13 and 30 metric tonne machines) which are fortified with excavating capabilities; ditch-cleaning buckets; rippers; root rakes; skeleton buckets; and brush cutters.

All of Richmond Ditching operators, which are licensed under the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, have been trained beyond drainage equipment which includes (but is not limited to) excavators, dozers, rock rakes and pickers; seeders; off-road articulated six-wheel drive dump trucks, and floats with up to 60-ton capacity. All of the equipment, most of which is brand-new is stringently maintained. We have access to any equipment required for a project, and are able to modify as needed to the client’s specific needs.
